I wanted to say my piece about super glue. Sure, it is a great product but if you don't wear gloves it gets all over your fingers. There is no way to prevent this. I have had two things break in the past few days, and have had to use it twice, and both times got it all over my fingers. If you have never had super glue on your fingers, it is horrible. Your fingers feel numb, and the stuff takes forever to come off of them. Even with scouring your hands and fingers, it usually takes all day before it all comes off. There is no perfect way of using this stuff, after using it once the glue sticks to the lid and then that won't come off. It does work great though , I will give it that. Usually when I put it on something it holds up. But, if you choose to use it beware that you should use disposable gloves so as not to get it on your hands and fingers. I should have!!

Katie,
Fingernail polish remover helps get the superglue off your fingers. I usually use it right away if I get the stuff on my hands. Also, I wipe the tip of the superglue off with a kleenex before I put the lid back on so the lid doesn't get glued onto the tip. Storing the superglue in an upright position also helps. :)
Nana,
I tried using finger nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol, and it did help from what it did look like. Thanks goodness that it did help, your fingers feel so weird with that stuff on them. I will try cleaning the lid off each time and storing it upright the next time I use it. Thanks for the tips!!
