American Club

Hi Everyone!! Sorry I have not posted in a while, we have been running around a lot lately. We were thinking of some ways to meet people over here and we thought to check out the American Club. So, we went for a visit, and it seemed like a nice club. They have a guard out front holding a gun, kind of scary though. Well, they wanted 19K as a one time payment, then a processing fee of like 1,600, then you have to pay a monthly fee. I don't understand why they are charging 19K, it is crazy. The only reason we really wanted to join is to meet people and eat there since they serve American food. Well, we wont be doing that!! Looks like we will have to find another way to meet people over here. I did join the American Women's Association here in Singapore, they have lots of activities you can do, and also a playgroup that meets once a week. The only downside to it is they meet mostly in the daytime, and I don't have anyone to watch Grayden so that I can attend. Oh well, I guess that is what happens when you move so far away from your friends and family.
