Home sweet home

We made it back to the states, and are here in New Jersey for a couple of days before going back to Texas. We had such a wonderful time in London, it was amazing. There were so many beautiful buildings, monuments, and statues all around London. We rented a car and drove down to Looe to see my side of the family. Grandma was so excited to see us, and especially Grayden. The view of the ocean there was breathe taking, you could sit out there on the deck all day long and just enjoy the view. We are visiting our in laws now in NJ and having a great time with them. I will try to post some pictures of London when I get a chance, we have been running around non stop. Probably wont be till we get back to Texas and get settled in. Cheers!!

Made it

We have made it to London!! We arrived here Friday afternoon after a long long journey. We were so jet lagged when we first got to the hotel. Tried to stay up as long as we could , but around 8pm here we just passed out. It is going to take a couple more days to get used to the time difference. So far we have had a wonderful time, the weather has been beautiful. Nice to come to a place where it is in the 70's instead of everyday in the 90's. We took a double decker bus tour the other day and went all over London. You can get on and off at whatever attractions that you would like to see and then jump back on when you are ready. We were pooped after that yesterday. We saw so much of London though, and it is amazing. Keep you posted on our journey.

Almost Time

I have been getting ready for our trip, we are so excited. It will be nice to finally have a vacation that just the three of us are on, a family trip. Hopefully, I can keep Brian away from the computer while we are on vacation for that week, after that he will have to work. Get ready Texas , we are coming home!! Can not wait to have some good Tex Mex food at Chuy's, and Enchiladas Y Mas. It will be nice to be back in our house, and see my little baby Daisy May(our cat). I hope that she remembers us since we have not been home for a year. I may not be posting much until we get back to Texas.

Acupuncture

Brian and I have been trying Acupuncture for the past three weeks at this TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) place. Let me tell you that people say it doesn't hurt that bad, it does hurt!! When they stick those needles in and it hits something they call the QI, it sends a quick pain to that spot. You also don't want to move your arms and legs if they have the needles in them, it sends a weird pain to the spot if you try. Brian has decided that it is to painful, he may stop going. I actually have felt better since going, like my circulation has improved. They say that areas in your body get blocked and you have to release it to make the blood flow better again. She also has been doing acupressure on me as well to help with my tense muscles, and another thing called cupping. In which they put glass cups on you and it sucks the blood up to stimulate circulation. The only downfall to that is it leaves big bruises on you where they did it. They don't hurt it just looks bad. To me it is worth it to feel better, no pain no gain right? We will see how it continues to go. If anyone has been thinking of going to Acupuncture just know that it will hurt a little bit when the needles go in initially. Some people it works great on and others not so good. You just have to try it and see.

Grayden's Day

Today we went for a visit at one of the preschools over here called Preschool by the Park. They took us on a tour of the house and then Grayden was invited to stay for the 3 1/2 hours in the Toddler group. Mommy stayed with Grayden the whole time to see what they did for the day. Grayden found a train set that he played with most of the time, and carried the little trains around with him everywhere. He did very well with the other kids, but was to excited to really pay attention to what the teachers were teaching. They said that this is normal because they are in a new environment, and it is overwhelming to them. We have another one to visit tomorrow, and hopefully we will be able to decide which one he will attend.

Happy Birthday

Grayden's 2nd Birthday

My little boy turned two!! I cant believe how fast these first two years have gone by. He had a fun day filled with presents and cupcakes. Later that evening while Mommy was giving the kitty his medicine, Gray went into the kitchen and grabbed the rest of the cupcakes. Do I have to tell you what happened.......the cupcakes went flying all over him and all over the floor. We had a huge mess to clean up on Gray and the floor. Guess the cupcakes were yummy, and to hard to resist grabbing another one. Thanks to everyone that sent cards, e-cards, called, and sent presents to our little guy.

Park Pictures

These are some pictures of a monkey that we saw at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, they were walking all over the place. He took a bite of that fruit that was on the ground and then he threw it back on the ground. Guess it didn't taste very good to him. They are so cute these little monkeys. I am glad that we found a place that they are still around, the place by us the migrated somewhere else. The other pictures are from the Jacob's Children's Park, we didn't get many pictures there because the camera battery ran out. They had some big slides that swerved around a couple times, he loved it. Mommy and Daddy of course had to take him down the slide because it was to big for him. We will go back another time and take more pictures to share.

Pool Pics

Here are some pool pictures. Grayden really enjoys swimming, we just have to get him to close his mouth when we take him under the water. We tried putting water wings on him but he drinks the pool.
