We had a wonderful time back in Cincinnati visiting with family and friends. The weather was pretty darn cold, but it was fun bundling all up. At first Grayden did not like wearing all the layers, but then when he realized it was freezing he wanted that jacket on. He still did not wear his hat the whole time we were there, little stinker.
Everyone was so happy to spend time with Grayden, and to see how much he has grown. Grayden had lots of fun seeing everyone and playing with them. He especially loved the model trains my Dad had set up under the tree and in the basement. He just loves his choo choo trains, especially his Thomas and Friends.
Grayden got a taste of Cincinnati for sure. He even had his very first Graeter's ice cream, mmm delicious. We ate lots of skyline, subs, bagels, pizza, and ice cream. I think I gained at least five pounds being there. That is what happens when you are deprived of good food, you eat it like crazy when you can. Over here in Singapore the food is not so good, at least to us. So, it was definitely a treat to go home, and get lots of yummy food. I nice break from having to cook a dinner every night.
Grayden went to his very first Cincinnati basketball game with Mommy and Daddy. He fell asleep 20 minutes before it ended. It was a pretty boring game, U.C. was up by 30 most of the time.
We had such a nice time with everyone and wish that we could have stayed even longer. It is always so good to go home and be with family. Lots of love to all of you, thanks for a wonderful time.
